As a Palace fan, I too was gutted when Zabeel pulled their interest from buying Charlton, despite claims that they 'found nothing wrong in the books' and certainly weren't put off with your GBP 20,000,000-plus debt and/or lacklustre start to the season, including a defeat to south London neighbours Crystal Palace after a glorious 62nd minute goal by Craig Beattie.
The reason I was, indeed still am, gutted is because with the Dubai millions Zabeel would have supplied, you would have collectively been able to have operations to remove all the chips from CAFC supporters shoulders, making the world a happier place. Henry Irving's proposed operation, which would have involved chips being removed from both shoulders, probably would have involved tens of surgeons, specialists and many hours of post-op treatment to assist in his re-integration into society, and help him to realise that his notion of the 'world and his wife' being against 'poor little Charlton' is in fact a collectively manufactured fantasy by Charlton fans (just like a rivalry with Crystal Palace, which has been created in the minds of Charlton fans), as quite simply the world and his wife doesn't care one jot about Charlton.

When you get near a joke let us know - we'll be sure to give it he considered opinion it deserves.
Why the bloody hell are you not getting smashed in The Walkabout in Blackpool?
Don't care about us so much that you bothered to come on this site and post a piss take which has taken you the last two days to plan. I would say anyone talking about others having chips on their shoulders whilst having Jordan in charge would be being ironic, but afraid i don't think your intelligent enough for that. Well done on making yourself look more stupid than most Palace fans.......probably the hardest thing you'll achieve in your life.
You just prove everything that we think about Palace supporters.
stick it up your v@3!*(# mate.....
