[cite]Posted By: addick1965[/cite]Try the Anchor,it's a bit more of a walk but it's a good pub.Sadly there is no real ale so i just stick to guinness.
No ale? This is becoming more and more common these days. You just don't get any hotel chains serving real ale these days, I hate going to weddings now!
[quote][cite]Posted By: Tavern[/cite]it was dead in the oak after the game!i wonder why[/quote] Thats because as we left before the game they only had Fosters left the rest was run dry!!
[cite]Posted By: shirty5[/cite]No more than about 30 people in there after the game last night. Needed a drink after that crap. Easy to get served though.
went in before the game, bloke ordered some bitter, the barman went hold on, disappeared for 5 mins and come back on said its all gone. Bloke ordered 2nd bitter, and the same thing happened again. So the bloke walked out. Bourne's dad was then told he was 'lucky' as he had the last pint out of another beer. So that was at least 3 different beers they sold out of, and it wasn't even busy in there.

Some people just have no idea how to run a pub.
Not bad for an older bird actually although it was dark outside
