Well read into this what you will but I think it is all done and dusted, because why all the new offers? I know we have run promotions in the past but kids for a quid against Barnsley and now cheap tickets for the Bristol City game. Yes we are in a recession and our board have always been good to us but the debt will never get smaller this way.

That I know isn't true. The Target 40k committee (which I'm on) discuss this and loads of other ideas months ago and I'm pretty sure no one around the table knew about the offer at the time.
The ticket offers are about keeping the crowd levels up. no point having loads of empty seats better to fill them and get some food/programme income in. Get people in and they are more likely to come back.
Also kid for a quid means - for younger kids - adult or two at normal price.
Might even get a few backsliding traitors like Ledge back into the ground and make him realise what a huge mistake he has made denying himself and Charlie regular trips to the Valley. : - )
I think pre-season the club said that there would be match-by-match offers but that season tickets will be the best value in any given stand/block. Presumably this remains the case.
