Left work at 4 yesterday to go to the pub (no telly) and have missed the most important breaking news in Charlton's history.

I think the enormity of it all is sinking in, just read this in The Guardian "We feel (Zabeel Investments) now is the right time for a strategic, long term investment in Charlton and get CAFC back to the English Premier League where they belong" Very very exciting!

I can honestly say that if I allow myself to think about this and my love for The Addicks and my 51 years around the old place it brings a lump to my throat and a tear to my eye.....it's not going to be 'sweetness and light' all the way guys and we'll still find things to moan about, that's what being a true fan is all about but at least we'll be moaning from a much better place than we're in right now...A new dawn awaits us......bring it on My Lovely Red Boys....Bring it On!!!!
