Just typical, for the first time in ages I've not checked the Charlton life or CAFC websites and something actually happens!
Fro the benefit of those who quite cant' work out what's going on could someone please explain:
A) How likely is it that this deal will actually happen?
B) How much is this deal worth?
c) Sort of money might be made available for player purchases?

A) 90% sure....It ought just to be a formality
B) A pittance, say £50m
C) As much they like really, money will not be an issue..Consider that Sheik Hamdans dad have a personal income of $4.5bn each year and personal assets worth around $70bn, US Dollars that is.
How much is this deal worth? - - - Around £50million + debts wiped out!
c) Sort of money might be made available for player purchases? - - - No idea!
please let there be no snags
i really can not believe it and do you know what we really do fecking deserve a crack at this sort of oportunity we have been a well run and maintained club for years and was so often touted as the business plan for a succesful club, now lets feed at the head table and eat with kings and queens
I just hope we buy a couple of defenders (to replace the loanees) a midfielder and a striker in January (not megastars I would settle for top Championship).
It's not so much buying success anymore, clubs need money just to compete in the Premier League.
We had 6 seasons in a row in which we were comfortably in mid table, to do that now you need to spend a lot more.
You know what, for a complete mashead from north of the pipe that is really very, very well put. I doff my cap to you sir!
