Id like to see prices kept low like Barcelona does to their fans. I.e build a stadium, in Greenwich or upgrade The Valley to say 65k and sell cheap tickets.
we should sell kids and adults tickets for a £1 and have que's out side the ground lol
have a big screen outside the ground who cannot get in and lets get that new stadium done and bring back the hotdog stand what we had in the premier league lol
I doubt that, in the Emirates most clubs have cheap or even free tickets as they finance themselves in three ways...Local government grants, handouts from their local Sheiks and of course sponsorship deals with companies that are trying to curry favours from the Sheiks in question.
So ticket prices will be reasonable but expect some heavy sponsor activity...I guess.
[cite]Posted By: ShootersHillGuru[/cite]interesting MCFC but can that ethos transpose to the UK .....? I doubt it.
My guess is that they will look into property developments in the surrounding areas to bolster the cashflow if possible, basically Zabeel is a property development vehicle so I can´t imagine them buying the club without having something in mind. And the timing is important, our Abu Dhabi guys are already in talks with the Manchester council about developing the area around our stadium and given this credit crunch I doubt that any other developers are willing to even try to go up against any company backed by a Emirati Sheik who got access to huge amounts of spare cash...the most sought after commodity in the world right now.
