  • Sorry - out of our control - Have recorded show so it should appear somewhere in the week. Had Peter Reeves on tonight, top bloke.
  • Got to say I was a bit in awe last night, chatting to someone I used to watch, (also in awe), as a kid during my first few years at the Valley, which I suppose is just how it should be.

Really enjoyed it and your right BDL, top bloke.

One of my early heroes along with Ray Treacy.

According to his interview with the club he played bowls for metro gas, so it's not unlikely he played footie for them as well.
  • The hardest tackler I've ever seen. I can still remember the sound of one of his crunching tackles echoeing around the Valley.
What's he up to these days?
  • Chirpy same here Tracey was my first CAFc hero. last i herd he was running footietours when ROI played away.

Matt Tees was another ------ Graham Moore

Runs a letting management company in Spain, holiday villas etc.

My Sister ran into him while on holiday and the subject of Charlton came up a few texts later I had his number.
  • Got a piccie of him now Killer. He didn't have much hair back in the seventies, so wouldn't have any now I should think!

Not personally, but I'll ask older sister to see if she got a pic of him while they were out there.
  • Still sorting out the recording of last nights show - OI DISCO DAN?!?!?!?!?! YOU SORTED IT YET?????
  • Think Ray Tracey got goal of the season when we beat Derby 2 nil . great Derby side.
  • Audio now up on the CAFC official site
  • Ray treacy and Harry Gregory were my first two Charlton strikers and the memory reminds me that we did boo players in the past - Harry took a load of stick.

  • Wasn't Cyril Davies ("on the wing , on the wing , CY-RIL , CY-RIL DAVIES , on the wing") at the same time ?

Harry Gregory was the Kish of his day. People loved him or hated him there was no in between.

    I loved him.
  • I'll be listening on sunday as always, will the show be extended to give fans a chance to ring in with views.

    Any special guests.

    Look forward to the show.

I hated him but I was in short trousers and under the huge influence of my Dad and Uncles.
  • Can't get the link to work.
  • Just checked and it's working - Tune in at 6 tonight.

    Thanks
  • (bump) Think we may also have a celebrity in the studio with us tonight!
  • What's the topic of conversation going to be BDL? as there was no game this week I cant think of whats going to be discussed ;-)
  • Hmmmm.... I wonder? How badly let down we were by Capello still trying to play Lampard and Gerrard together when it clearly doesn't work?
  • Will it be on the OS again Dave? Hope so.
