  • Let's hope so, but don't tell Oohaah or NSS!
  • I have mentioned it a million times but when we played him and Varney together against Blackpool at home last season they were mustard.
  • If he got given a run in the side like Gray and Varney have had then i'm convinced he will come good.
  • cue NORTHSTANDSTEVE
  • Something else for Steve to moan about...
  • Confidence player, if he comes on in his first game & scores for the First team we may see a different player. You never know....
  • He'll be behind Varney/Gray/Toddy and maybe Dickson. So I doubt he'll get too much confidence from that
  • Duck everyone there must be a tirade from NSS coming soon with this one

i cant wait for Izale to come back the one truely great striker at the club

    That should do it :-)
  • it'll be like having a new mendonca - that will deffo do it.
  • if he's as good as on fifa then i'd ave him

according to pards on the os Izale is like having Rooney and teves in one and the fans at this club have never and will never see a more complete forward player

    (allegedly)

    that should help
  • I think i remember reading somewhere that Izale blamed his bad performances last year to some dodgy training equipment the club purchased from some place in orpington
  • lets have a street party to celebrate the 2nd coming of Izale Mcleod!
  • nah it was some dodgy under garment he bought from a kit firm out that way

never did recover his costs either, heard he was sueing some small angry bloke

LOL I would pay to see that!

I think it was WSS who said he has come back a lot fitter and with a lot more muscle. Certainly had the pace so hope he's back in contention

I think he might be better suited to 4-5-1 than either Gray or Varney so we can play it every week. *ducks for cover*

    LOL.....spits tea all over keyboard.
  • Good luck to him.If he comes good it will be like a new signing. He's got unfinished business.
  • I'm praying he does the business for us we need someone or thing to kick start the season,I really want to be proved wrong on this one.
  • boooooooooooooooooooo - play our game NSS :-)))
  • He is gona be the 1 to turn it round 4 us,always thought he needed a good run of games 4 us 2 get started. He looked the part but finishing touch wasnt that good if he gets a couple of goals when he comes back mayb that will do a lot 4 him and get him a place.

    not fair you not playing
  • Pardew said: "Izale will play on Monday for the reserves and he looks terrific. He's ahead of schedule, he's been in the gym and when fans see him, they'll see a stronger player and also someone who has developed as a person.

"I think he'll bring that to the pitch, he had a settling-in year last year, and he needs to hit the ground running this time.

"By the look of him in training I think we'll see something big from him this year, so I'm looking forward to seeing him back in action and doing his stuff."
  • if selected LOL

Good point. Pardew won't want to change a winning side............... Oh hang on a minute : - )

    LOL
  • He looked good with Varney in the few games they played together, but I'm not convinced. His finishing was awful.

Truesay. But you don't score as many goals as he did (even at that level) without having something in the finishing department.

Always rated him. Looking forward to his return.
