Oh well, six points off of them last season didn't do much for us anyway.

I can take such a defeat on the chin because I know I'll always be a Charlton fan.

To paraphrase a Swedish proverb:

"Love the club when it least deserves it, because that's when it really needs it."

I don't want to get outsung by the tractor boys, there's fight in me still if not the players and I'll represent the club I love as best I can.

    I sit North Lower and have the same issue!

    Seems north upper is the only place you are allowed to support the club!

    Nothing to do with the Palace game, I've seen a lot of peaks and troughs since 1963, but non- football related reasons.
