I thought our support was excelent.

Anyone else get herded up by the old bill at London Bridge?

  • Hats off to you blokes....loud and clear on the radio......more than the effort put in by the team deserve
  • Got to say I agree with that.

Everyone there seemed up for supporting the side - wasn't any evidence of the siidarn brigade.

Just a shame we had to witness what was the poorest performance from a Charlton side I've seen for a long, long time...

Does that include the bunch of yobs in replica shirts who stood in the gangway around row 10, waving arms and screaming abuse at home fans in the Holmesdale stand, oblivious of the football action in the opposite direction. Not content with 'Jordan is a w*nker', they also delivered 'Jordan is a c***' at full volume despite the presence of three sub-teen girls and several other females in the vicinity.

Such is the 'pleasure' of away 'support'.
  • The Train up to Palace was the highlight for me last night the song...'Is she really going out with him...is she really gonna take him home tonight' & the Darren bent Lookalike who took the banter in very good spirits.

  • Could we include spitting on a palace fan on his own at LB with ten mates behind you, as excellent support!!

Although agreed our vocal was good

    We've all got muppets.

At least we didnt lob bricks and stones from a safe distance at their fans and run away.
  • Saw a load of Charlton fans in a pub before the game, all bouncing up and down. All the burberry hat brigade.

Saw a few bottles chucked at some Palace teenagers giving it some.
  • What a hole that was.

One highlight was the Market Porter.

And the other highlight was sneaking into a home fans only pub as a mob of about 20 palace kids were hurlng abuse and plastic glasses at any charlton coaches going past. they didnt notice us.

    thats about it i think.

  • I caught the ball, from a fluffed Moses cross. Going pretty fast and it stuck like glue.

First time in 16 years of going to football i've touched, let alone caught the matchball.

    That was my highlight.

Thats nothing to the lady that took a bottle of coke to the head from there lot on the way out the ground and fat c**t of a OB just smiling at us and shrugging his shoulders without a care in the word.

The Mick Johnson from Brookisde lookalike before the game telling people to fuck off and nearly pushing them to the ground unlike his colleuges who were polite and said come on boys keep moving

    (oops, posted on wrong thread)
  • On the bright side.......

It was good to meet a few new lifers at the Market Porter. It's good to put more faces to names like Tommo. Also good to meet a couple of overseas addicks who are back for a visit, Oakster and Lookout. Kepp up the good work lookie and hope you all enjoy being back for a while.
  • Nice few pints of London Pride before the game. Most agreeable.
  • train on the way up, full of blokes all eyeing each other up. well funny-everyone was wel paranoid! nobody knew who was who!!

was great to see the away end packed full of blokes and everyone standing up. its the only game when u can guarantee proper away support!
