Hard for some of you to believe this I guess and me too in some ways but the(now hard to come by) video is one of my prized possesions...what a band(all top drawer session musicians), what a performance and what a night....the fans went balistic!

Nowt wrong with a bit of HM!

Not a gig - but I'd had loved to have been at Battersea Power Station when the PIg broke loose.
  • Chuck Berry had tickets went to some bints party in Glos Rd, rubbish party and missed a legend.
  • Queen live and free in Hyde Park.
  • Saw Queen at Earls Court (76) and Lewisham odeon (81 i think).
was at the Motorhead at Hammersmith in 81 ; couldn't hear for several days after !!

LOL you would have fitting in well.

Think it all kicked off in the crowd when one of the support bands was on. Hawkwind maybe???? Can't have been Kiki Dee who came on with a Cardboard cut out of Elton John

Then there was lots of "sit down" and can/bottle throwing when Queen were on.

  • sorry Henry , missed the Hyde park gig.
was in Hereford watching the addicks win 2-0
  • An ex-Lanndord and employer of mine Brian (old hippie and now deceased RIP) was the Ent Sec at a Uni in Wales and booked Pink Floyd in 1966.

They started with the psychedelic stuff and were booed as you would expect at that time out in the sticks. So they stopped and did a set of rock and roll covers and did it really well. Crowd loved it. Wish I had seen it and wish I had the tape.
  • I'd like to have seen Miles Davies, Led Zep and Pink Floyd.
  • Depeche Mode supporting Fad Gadget at Raquels Basildon
Fad Gadget supporting Siouxsie and the Banshees at Royal Albert Hall
Jimi Hendrix at Isle of Wight
    Frank Zappa at Montreux
Any Pink Floyd, perhaps at Pompeii
Something at the Hacienda at the start of Punk
One of the Jean Michel Jarre biggies
  • Either of The Who gigs @ The Valley
    Floyd 1980 (The Wall)
Genesis 1975 (The Lamb, or any with Gabriel)
Any Jam around Sound Affects Time
