THE KENTISH TIMES is teaming up with CHARLTON ATHLETIC to offer young fans the opportunity to lead out the team against Ipswich Town next month as the club’s official mascot. Stars such as Zheng Zhi, Matt Holland and one of the country’s brightest prospects – Jonjo Shelvey – are helping Alan Pardew’s squad push for promotion this season. The match starts at 3pm on Saturday, October 4 and the lucky winner will get: a full Charlton Athletic home kit; two adult and one mascot ticket in the North West Quadrant; a tour of boardroom, directors box and dugouts; a goodie bag for the mascot; three Crossbar passes; the mascot to visit the home dressing room before the game and a souvenir photograph with the club captains and match officials.
