Personally I think common sense should exist regarding where you watch the game, with the people wanting to sit down getting a seat at the front and the standers going further back. If you want to be in a group than get there early, I realise it's not fair but the system works fine for England fans. It also allows a mate who brought a last minute ticket to stand with the group.
I have people moaning about noise as well and maybe to create a better atmosphere the club shoud set aside a block or 2 or 3 dependant on demand for people who want to sing.
Prime expample Ipswich some old dear called me a c**t and shouted abuse all we wanted was to sing and get behind the team.
So moved twice ended up sharing a row whith people on here

No FOD. If you plan ahead and use common sense 3 weeks before the fixture and buy tickets together in a specified location then you dont have to 'get there early to get a seat' you're sorted sititng with your mates if you turn up late doors or early doors. that is common sense, not waiting till you turn up before thinking about it.
"I realise its not fair" yeah, so why suggest it? I'm sure the system works fine for england fans that are happy to leave it to chance, but for those that plan in advance, its not fair is it. as long as you're alright jack. sod everyone else.
i understand too that a seat number is there for a reason but with a big group at big away games its obviously not going to go all your own way unless you get there extremely early.
As for people asked to shut up at away games and being called a c... (in left behinds post), pathetic really.
And thats no pop at Suz its just being realistic in an old stand like the Arthur Waite where Stewards havent really got a chance and cant be bothered in the 1st place

Sorry CAFC#1 I dont see it as realistic. I see it as selfish. it doesnt matter if its an old stand or a new stand, its simple to organise a group booking.
the stewards dont stand a chance, I do agree with that.
people can't be bothered to sort it out in the first place before they buy tickets, so why should the stewards care afterwards.
it's not a terrace anymore so if a section is virtually sold out people should sit where their seat is
but we wont nearly sell it out so spread out and look busy i say;-)
[cite]Posted By: FOD[/cite]Suzi, Are you against unreserved seating? I think we will just have to agree to disagree.
nope not at all. if its unreserved, its unreserved. get there early and sit where you like, all for that.
if tickets are sold reserved, then I think people should stick to them. if people have organised in advance a group booking to ensure they all sit together, then I think they should be able to do so, like we tried to do at palace away last year and like we're doing this year as well. Thats all I'm saying.

And like at Brighton Mr FOD when you stole somebody's seat...
How petie worrying about who is sitting where its a fotball match not a night at the opera, as it has been rightly suggested if it means that much to fans that they all sit together then get their early and put your jackets over the seats. I would rather have a few beers with my mates in the pub have a chat before the game and have chat at half time and after
