Is a Shiekh better than a Tsar or a African Tribal chief?

edited September 2008 in General Charlton
Hopefully it will sort out our Energy crisis , they will spend all their money outdoing each other in buying every player in the world and the big four/three/two can F**k off and play each other week ....until they wear out and die
anyway
We started all this 'Billhocks' years ago, when we got that African Tribal chief on board , Shame all he had was rubber and that all got lost on a boat somewhere .....happy days , "we got Bill Baileyo who needs robiniho"

anyway , I moscow , Matron's coming round with the medicine ......

Quite a lot if you believe the WhichwayNigeria website who list him as one of that countries 5 most notorious

CHIEF FRANCIS ARTHUR NZERIBE. He is an enigma, as slippery as an eel. He became a national password for political unfaithfulness when he floated the now infamous Association For Better Nigeria (ABN). ABN beseeched the court, praying that the June 12 election should not hold. The court granted his prayers and but Professor Humphrey Nwosu NEC chairman went ahead and organised the freest and fairest election in Nigeria. The military headed by General Ibrahim Babangida, annulled the election among other reasons, citing the court order in favour of ABN.

When Democracy returned, Chief Francis Arthur Nzeribe, made it to the Senate, representing Orlu Senatorial Zone of Imo State. While in the Senate, he was a thorn in the flesh of all Senate Presidents, from Evan(s) Enwerem through Chuba Wilberforce Okadigbo to Ken Nnamani. Chief Nzeribe, served a notice of impeachment against President Obasanjo, citing constitutional breaches. His colleagues chanting ABN never allowed the motion to be debated. With the rot being exposed of the underhand dealing in Obasanjo’s regime, one cannot help but see the prophetic in Arthur Nzereibe.

Arthur, a man of questionable riches (he has no industry, not a member of board of director of any company, does not engage in buy and sell) is believed to have made his money through arms running. Unconfirmed reports have it that Arthur was so treacherous that he sold arms both to Biafra and Nigeria during the 30 months civil war.

His first attempt at Senate was in 1983 under the banner of NPP. He was the Political agada gbachiri uzo (fortress) of Imo State, crowning governors after they have taken oath of loyalty often involving devilish rituals. A governorship aspirant was believed to have taken an oath by crossing a coffin in order to get the blessings of Arthur Nzeribe and unlimited access to his war chest. His reign as the political juggernaut was terminated by a combined forces of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo,(in order to get back to his political enemy and failed third term bid), Chief Achike Udenwa( immediate past governor of Imo State and Osita Izunazo (current Senator Orlu Senatorial Zone) using Onongaono and federal dichotomy in Imo PDP to eat up Arthur’s influence.

Since losing the party primaries, the frail looking Chief Arthur Nzeribe is hardly seen in public.

MAVERICK politician and a multi-billion naira investment mogul, Chief Arthur Nzeribe is dead. Although details of how he died had remained sketchy at the time of report, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Nzeribe would have been 84 years by November 2.

At the time of his death, I reckon he was still waiting for his shipment of rubber to arrive
