The Golden Vision

was just shown on BBC4.

I watched it first time round.

Apart from featuring too many scousers for my liking it certainly captured something of how things used to be way back when.

Anyone else watch it?

    A drama documentary featuring the lives of Everton fans in the late sixties along with that of their hero, Alex Young, known as The Golden vision.

    Some great shots of Everton training and some match scenes. Quite poignant seeing the late Alan Ball and Brian Labone amongst others.
