  • Mambo is still 16 and not even played for the reserves yet (I think).

He's certainly big (FK how big he will be when he stops growing) and seems to have matured as a player but that is a big ask for a kid

You are right Henry, it would be a big ask for a kid. He played well against Aldershot though, who are in the same division as Yeovil. So put him in alongside Fortune & see how he gets on. Didn't Rufus get his debut in similar circumstances all those years ago? Unfortunately, I really can't see Pards risking him just yet.
  • I see that Kaboul has signed for Portsmouth, hopefully that frees Crainie to come in on-loan, and if Stoke do sign Faye, then some money is going to be available to perhaps get Sodje in.

We need cover, and plenty of it, at CB. Semedo might be a solution there, but even so if we are looking at 16 yo kids then the cupboard is pretty bare.
  • Rufus was 4 months off his 19th birthday when he made his debut.

good point about Yeovil and Aldershot being in the same division. Seems odd to say that.
  • With respect, playing against Aldershot in a friendly is not the same thing as playing Yeovil in a real match, even if they are in the same division.
  • Who said Yeovil and Aldershot are in the same division?

Aldershot just promoted from the Conference to Division 2.

Yeovil have been a Division 1 side for 3 or 4 years now.
Just the division below us - same as Leeds, Leicester City, Millwall, Southend & Brighton, etc -
