Great purchase this should have the fans in a good mood for the opening game, especially if he starts. Out of all the players we were linked with, this was the 1 I was most exicted by. The only slight concern is that Pardew did say he was not too keen on loan players after last season,however a season long loan is different compared to the short term ones who just come to put themselves in the shop window.

Ok, I know I'm a bit old fashioned but that's my understanding of a wingers prime objective.
I used to tune into Watford games just to watch Bouazza and Ashley Young play on the wings; very entertaining. Just hope that Hameur brings the right attitude to his time with the squad.

Pards only said he wasn't keen on short term loan signings - he said their agenda seemed different from that of the club.
He also said the season long loan of Sam Sodje worked brilliantly and if he loaned players again, that would be the direction he took.
Pards has been watching you tube again!!
