I find it staggering the lack of posts on something nice being written about the club. Well done to everyone involved at CAFC who contributed to such a good showing.
[cite]Posted By: WSS[/cite]Unfortunately, as with everything football wise - the performance off the pitch counts for absolutely nothing if the performance on the pitch is dire.
Agreed?
That never seems to stop people complaining about off the pitch activities.
There is anecdotal evidence (OK some of staff at the Valley told me) that they is direct correlation between the number of customer complaints on non-playing issues and the team performance.
I am sure Henry could quote more embarrassing complaints than me, but some bloke from Bexleyheath complained that the then New North Stand Cast a shadow in his Garden the next morning after a bad result that weekend. I mean Perlease...
[cite]Posted By: WhenIwasLittleBoy[/cite]very good at spin
Independent survey carried out by outside agency and benchmarked against other clubs but it's spin.
Point proved I think.
To be fair Henry, there isn't much competition.
How many of the 72 clubs have got the identikit premium tv sites? Yes, it's definitely something for the OS to be proud of, but how much competition was there really?
as I said Henry very good at spin being the best at filling at survey doesn't get you any extra points why wasn't the club as keen to tell the fans during the pre season about the lack of transfer activity worked in media far to long and its all spin

But people were asked to comment on a whole range of issues not just the OS and in nearly all case people were very positive and we were in the top 1 or 2.
Other OS's may be poor but Charlton fans weren't asked to compare ours with others but asked how good ours was on a range of issues such as providing news, ticket info etc etc.
Anyway welcome to Debbie the new person in the press office who started yesterday. Welcome to the mad house and make them tidy up that bloody office ; - )

but what do we get from it Henry, more season ticket holders? More transfer funds? Or even a press to put the names on the back of shirts. The only people who buy into it are the club cue the DPS articale on the survey in the programme, who really cares

You obviously do as you were in like a rat up a drain pipe to rubbish it.
I do because I think the staff (other than Steve Waggott's PA who is rubbish : -) are mostly doing a good if not excellent job in difficult circumstances.
Henry it means nothing and gets us nothig. If we done a survey on here of how many people rarely cared about it would that count its a survey, if 75% said no would the club dismiss it, more importatly if the results were detremental to the club would they have published it? No! And why not because they only want us to know certain things and not the whole truth

I hope some of the miserable gits on here read this and get behind the team now. I am truly fed up with the negativity on here. If you hate the club that much feel free to go and support Gills or Millwall

We highlighted the key results from the survey back in June on here. 1,750 Charlton fans participated, the second highest participation

Of course us fans must take the praise though, for the above average atmosphere we deliver.
With a comma in there, that might make some sense

Yeah, yeah, whatever
Well done to our lot.
Well done to our lot.[/quote]don't rule it out if the club look at alternative ways of raising revenue

No, 3 - 0 to me.
