[cite]Posted By: BDL[/cite]Actually the first show will be Charlton Chat celebrating the20 years anniversary of the old RTM show, then we're back the following week with Charlton Live.
Jon Lucas, myself and Killersbeard will be involved.
Hope we can count on everybodys support.
We are looking at podcasting it as well.
I knew a fella who was a presenter for RTM (Maidstone united fan) , I believe he resigned on air and then locked the studio and left a perry como album playing on repeat!
[cite]Posted By: BDL[/cite]SOS - I wasn't at the station in the "old" days (Rtm) - But I do remember hearing the story, what was his name?
His names Chris Bechervase. I cant quite remember why he resigned I think someone was rude to him or something. So he left them with Perry Como....a Magic moment i'm sure ;-)
Steve Vigar, another good cricketer, along with his father Ken, he lived in Darenth Gardens if I recall correctly.
I'm pretty Steve & Chris were both Watford fans and used to go to Watford matches regularly...but that was back in the 80s when Watford were a considerably better team than now, but if Chris was a Stones fan I'll put it down to my memory not being what it once was.
Speaking of Chris, I remember he DJ'd on a few pirate stations - Total Knock-out was one.

That would figure he's a long time Maidstone United supporter.
Will be a regular listener, was a good show tonight.
I know Chris Bechervaise very well - good bloke, we played cricket together, but I remember him as a Watford fan. He lives/lived in Westerham.
