To the guys who worked through the night to fix the water main on Charlton Church Lane to make it accessible - it was a bit noisy but drowning out Big Brother was no bad thing in my book. Floyd Road also seems to be a hive of activity as well.
All good news as this has enabled the Conservative Club to take delivery of copious amounts of beer this morning so if anyone is coming down for the training session and fancies a post Pardew pint all are welcome. Also open at 12.00 tomorrow and the Club is offering free entry as it's only a friendly etc, with footie on TV before and after the game, followed by live music from local band Life of Brian - again, all welcome.
