From the highlights it looks like we were all over the place defensively - is it just me, or does El Karkouri play so much better alongside Diawara? Getting the balance of the midfield right is still our biggest problem though. 4-4-2 with both Rommedahl and Thomas just isn't going to work unless the two in the centre are doing the hard work of closing the opposition down and winning the ball. But then are the wingers enough to give us the creativity we need?

About the only relief was that we got no mention in the analysis whatsoever. I wasn't really in the modd for Hansen picking our defense to pieces and Lineker looking smug, whilst throwing in the odd patronising coment. Normal service has been resumed it seems.

    El Karkouri mignt play better alonside Diawara as they are both French speakers, the ELK was awful this afternoon. The midfield was shocking too. We need to see the last of ELK/Hreidarsson/Holland at the very least.

    Its no coincidence that Borat has played every game this season and we're in the shit.

    You can see why Curbs wanted rid. Looks comfortable on the ball but as an out and out defender piss poor.
