Met my mate Gary about 15 years ago whilst on holiday. He enjoyed his football, going to the odd Southend game. Of course I took him to the Valley and he was hooked. He's now a season ticket holder in the North Upper with me. Anyway, seven years ago he had his son, Kieran. Gary was that hooked, Kieran's was given the middle name of Charlton (much to his wife's disgust).
Kieran has been driving Gary and me mad to take him to a game, so he is going to his first Charlton game on Saturday against Braintree. I'm hoping Pards will send a few names down as the game has been upgraded to a testimonial for one of the Braintree lads.
We then are taking him for his first visit to the Valley on August 2nd (whoever we may be playing!). Let's hope he enjoys the experience and becomes another season ticket holder from Essex!
