i know a lot of people are staying over, but for those going and returning on the saturday take advantage of southern railway's offer. no offence for stonemuse posting it but £32 is extortionate.
basically it's a ticket you can only buy online and allows you to travel on any southern train off-peak.
the price is for 1 person is = £10.
a group ticket which 4 people can travel on is £20.
up to 4 kids can travel for £1 each for every paying adult.
the only restriction is that you must travel on southern trains, and groups must travel together.
i've had a quick look and there is a (southern) train back from brighton at 19.19, and it seems all the southern trains are quicker than first capital connect.

Got my tickets. Nine of them. Sadly enough I'm really looking forward to it. Its gonna be like an old fashioned away game. Loads of beers and laughs before the game, spoilt by 90 minutes of boredom followed by loads more beers. Am staying down Friday and Saturday.
going like hot cakes they said in the office....so should be good un....hope get early train for dford hit Brighton openng time...alas cant make friday or saturday night as not enough stars on me chart from other half...
cruel but fair......went up bexleyheath shop told work docs.....they knew nothing had no tickets....so late in work..rang but hope got one..intersting see how many left by weeknd
whoever found out about cheap train tickets you are a legend,7 of us going for £23 absolute bargain more money to spend in pub,should be a cracking day with plenty of anti palarse songs

Young un is on his way there left leaving work early
Im broke till Weds thats why im getting him to get them.
Also we can all knock teh litle s**t for the cash LOL ;-)
