Mick McCarthy is arguably one of the most experienced managers at Championship level. Since becoming Millwall manager in 1992, he did an admirable job with the Spanners and then more than held his own as the RoI manager. A poor spell with Sunderland is the only blackspot in his career, and on returning to Wolves, he is turning them in the right direction, with the signing of Ebanks-Blake arguably the best acquisition in the whole league last year. Still has a family home in Bromley, has been keen on the Charlton job for years and when at Sunderland is reported to have said he would of walked back to CHarlton for the managers job.
Roberto Martinez is just 34 years old, the youngest manager in the Championship for next season. After three years as a player with Swansea, he returned to manage them in 1997 and suprised everyone in leading Swansea to the league title and himself to the LMA manager of the year award. Begineers luck or unearthed genius ?
REMEMBER: You are voting on who out of the two on offer you would prefer to be Charlton manager.

16yrs managerial experience in the Championship, Prem and International wins hands down for me over what is purely a rookie.
And Chris Powell played for Palace.
They are footballers, it is their job.
Stupid argument
Yeah, but Chris Powell is a legend and McCarthy isn't :-)
when i think of mick McCarthey i think Millwall and the Repulic of Ireland
When ithink of Powelly i think Southend and Derby
maybe silly for you but not for me and his nose is on his cheek
