Perhaps if someone is going to the Q&A session tonight they could ask it...

If Les Reed is now considered the best man for the job why wasn't he appointed back in May/June when Curbs left?

Did he apply for the job then? Was he considered but passed over in favour of Iain Dowie?

    I might be popping along tonight. Not sure if I'll be able to ask that exact question but I'll see. Might be unfair to ask Les that question direct and the only Director there doesn't know much about what happened in May. ; - )
