So which songs should BDL play at a loud enough volume over the Valley PA that they are heard at the O2 and so express our love and admiration for all things Stateside.

I have, i just don't think its a relationship we should court. He clearly isn't a football lover, and his whole set up is about franchising, something i'm loathe too.
I'm not fussed seeing Charlton in the future outside of the big boys league, certainly wouldn't go out my way to sell our soul about it.
Football moved along happily for a hundred odd years before Russian billionaires and American franchises took a fancy, and will continue to do so in the future. If that means we have to cut our cloth and live within our means like thousands of other football clubs have to do in this country, so be it.
I think my suggestion that we play songs on the Valley PA to entise AEG is about as credable as the original peice in the Mail.
I don't want to sell our soul but I'm sure I don't want to see a life permanantly outside the big time. Whether it is only possible to avoid the latter by doing the former I'm not sure.
I do remember that this season just gone was going to be fun as we visited new grounds and won lots of games. It didn't work out the way people thought. The future rarely does.
