Steve Works at Wembley Stadium - I was chatting to him at Colchester away this year. Seen him a few times this year around the ground so maybe has a ST again
Rick is the Club's Development Manager and runs a coach service to enable fans across Kent and beyond to attend games. Does a few other things as well to help grow the fan base.
Rick Everit posts on here "Airman Brown" he is the comunictions manager i think
Hasn't been Communications Manager for many a year now. He used to run a fanzine as well. Goodbye Horse I think it was called ; - )
lol...bring back VOTV
SInce AFKA and Lookie have nothing better to do over the summer maybe they could scan old copies of VOTV and Goodbye Horse and put then up in the Articles sections.
Would be interesting (well some of it) and an important archive of an era of rapid change and development.
[cite]Posted By: Goonerhater[/cite]So come on then lets here about the name "Good bye horse" when id it actually occur ?
To my knowledge there are at least 3 versions of the incident.
Well I was in a pub with Large Addick and some other person who I won't name who wanted to start a new fanzine. He was going to call it "13-12 to the Londoners" but I said "Goodbye Horse" would be easier to remember and shout on street corner when selling.
Was that the one in the 80's under the bridge we were walking to the statuion under teh bridge then they showed there faces and got run and i remember 2 police horses and im sure one went over??????????????????
I remember a ruck outside Craven Cottage when a horse went down....served the bugger right as he was swinging his baton and taking out anyone in the vicinity
