  • Whatever we sold last year minus 1500.

exactly the same happened to me... and i've now had three red cards with three different numbers... cutting costs are they?!
  • I still haven't even received my application form and I rang up 2 weeks ago to get another one, useless!
  • renewed mine the weekend,i hope my heart hasnt ruled my head again
  • Judging by the fact they have been sending several to my work on the back of one corporate day I would think the numbers are down, expected really.

    I'll go for 12,000 come August 9.
  • 14k upwards, will be a result, considering it wasn't great last season and there was i thinking it was gonna be soooooo exciting

I reckon its not far short of that already
  • well If its 10-11k, i really don't know why the club just don't announce how many have been done so far.

I see no strategical reason why not to, it could only tempt others into applying / reapplying surely ?

Or am i missing something obvious ?

  • maybe most people who planning to renew presume that almost everyone is - perhaps if they realise that a fair number are not renewing it will make them rethink
  • I dont think the renewal figure will be lower than the club estimated as i did forecast when the season finished, if they get 12,000 in renewals they would have done well, there are a lot of fans out there who have questioned the commitment of the club after the sale of reid and the way we feel away at the end of the season coupled with the Pardew spin machine doing overtime week in week out
