My argument is that he should never been appointed in the first place at their cost may I add. But thats history now a bad and costly mistake like Reid has been. Its not my money so shouldnt really moan really should I.
Just wondered Henry is you asked the board was it a good idea too sell Reid without a worthy replacement ?

Selling Reid wasn't just down to the club though. Reid and Sunderland had an input as well.
My take (opinion) from the two sharholders meetings was this :
Murray agreed Reid was our best player but they were worried that he spent so much time injured. Sunderland made an offer which the Board thought was ok and Sunderland offered Reid 3 times what he was on with us. Reid asked if we could match it , we couldnt. He went. Pards said that the impact of Reid leaving was underestimated and theloan signings to replace him didnt work out.
In short it was a f**k up. The Board made the choice(they could have told Sunderlad to stuff it) but the timing (after beating Stoke) and the fact that Reids replacement didnt work out hit us big time.

Managers are all different in their styles. Alan is very popular with the players for example.
So basically Peter, you didnt like him?!
