To all the boo boys and nay-sayers who stayed away yesterday, please, please, please do us a favour and don't renew your season tickets. There was a fantastic atmosphere down at The Valley yesterday and that was at least in part due to the fact that the crowd was really positive right the way through. There was a point where they scored just after we went two up where you just know that normally sections of the crowd would have turned on Pardew, the defence and/or anything else that moved (or didn't). That just didn't happen yesterday and I can only put that down to the fact that the moaning minnies didn't turn up. How good it was. Without that pressure the team turned things around and played the best football they have all season. It was wonderful.
So if your a boo boy and you really love our club, do everyone a favour and stay away next year.

What we need from the management is to get them in the same frame of mind for matches that do matter. Difficult I'm sure.
Anyway very nice way to finish a disappointing season.
Magnificent. Keep smiling.
All very well doing it when no pressure but as Pardew himself says on the OS they need to do it when the pressure is on.
What might help is the crowd not heaping more pressure on their heads.
Going two nil up at home in the first 20 minutes is also a good way to relieve the pressure.
Lol! I meant to say NOT!!!
Will edit.
Too late.
I have treid to be positive all season but even I gave in in the end. (Have never booed though, pathetic. I don't even boo Defoe, doesn't work as he always scores against us.)
The slate is clean, I'm up for next year and will be re-newing my 3 ST's as soon as I get my form.
I couldn't be there yesterday ( I live in the wrong place ....) but following everybodies comments, it sounded a wonderful day out ........... and we got our old Charlton back.
Now we can enjoy that summer!
only if palace don't go up... i feel ill about them they are favourites for the play offs as well.... i can't handle it ;-(
However, the idea of being a supporter is to support through thick and thin...this has been a 'thin' year, but not disaterous by any means. Supporting a club when you witness lose after lose is part of being a solid supporter of this fine club...If people want glory and glory alone, then yeah, dont bother to renew.
As for leaving early, i do that just to catch my train :D
I know your glass is usually half empty, but try looking at it this way:
Palace get promoted(as I'm sure they will, I said it months ago on here) and then we wave to them as we pass them at the end of next season as we go up and they come back down with a bump.
