How many of you ?

Will renew your season tickets by 31st May to guarantee your seats.I have always done this but will hold on to my money for another month and a half.I can't see there being a mad rush this year of people wanting to take my seat.

  • got the gumph through today, (did mcs new or old firm print them?).
probably will stay put (sorry sco), as friends we only see at football sit with us and don't want the hassel of trying to get 7 or 8 together at a later date.
  • Will renew before the 31st May deadline so keep the same seat, but won't send the app off untill near the the deadline so won't appear on credit card bill for another month.
  • Already sent mine off
  • what im saying is do you seriously think holding back a month and a half and having the money i the bank for a longer period you will lose your seat.I think it is highly unlikely.
  • they need as many to renew by 31st May so that Pards can spend it. If we all waited until July then Pards will get less than he's already getting. I'm renewing on 31st as it won't hit Credit Card till June, next statement 30th June, won't have to pay till mid July anyway.
  • you mean so he can spunk even more.
  • hope the dog has not chewed the post up little got normally does
  • I got my gumph through yesterday and will renew as usual.

Got that Barclaycard Football credit card through yesterday too, so will be paying 0% interest on it rather than the joke 30.8% the Football credit through the club charge...

  • Barclaycard said no to me FFS

Need to get the credit S**t sorted as my rating looks good it has to be the last people at mine
  • Barclays said yes to me, woo hoo
  • For the first time since 1990 I won't be renewing my ones before the deadline.

I'm going to let my seats in the middle of the East stand go and look for something cheaper later on. Can't see the point of renewing and paying for the dearest seats and then looking to swap them later for cheaper seats and trying to get a refund for the difference.

If there is nothing available that I fancy then I'll pick and choose games on a match by match basis but I know already that I will inevitably then not be bothered with half the games.
  • But Spor do you lose out on the free season ticket when we get promoted? or does it not matter when you renew by for that, as long as you renew?
  • Pretty sure you just lose your seat B.

Hi B - as I understand it as long as you purchase an ST before August 1st you will qualify for the offer whether you are renewing an existing one or not.

Not that I think we have much chance of promotion anyway to be honest - maybe the play offs as an outside chance but I think we are going to get left way behind unless someone puts together a team rather than a bunch of individuals.
  • We will be doing ours.
  • Notice i said when we get promoted not if... back to positive!
  • Will definitely be renewing for myself and my son

Don't misunderstand me - I've seen far far worse than the current situation - I've been going since I was a little kid in the early sixties and I've seen some right rubbish over the years - just that in the great scheme of things the free season ticket offer is all but irrelevant to renewing for me and I'm not going to be staying in my current seats. So will wait and see what's available in the Summer rather than coughing up now as I know I'm going to move anyway - whether it's ST's or match tickets!

  • makes me laugh how once they knew we werent going up they are doing a mailout,i think the club should let the dust settle for a couple of weeks and then mailout after the fans start to miss the games, at this moment in time everyone is a bit disgrunteld and there is more chance of punters saying at this stage that they will leave it for next season
  • It would be commercial folly to delay though.

So how would people renew their season tickets if they wanted to?

Or would they just do 20 game season tickets? Seems a silly idea to me, not forgetting the loss of revenue.
  • After such a crap season there is more chance about people thining twice about it now rather than in two/three weeks time once they are missing there saturday afternoons

Ah I get you. As in missing to go to football, rather than missing actual games!
  • exactly...........the craving would start, and once the renewal forms come in then people wold return them, i know at this stage alot of mates are not bothering for next season
  • To be honest i got mine, threw it in my bag and just thought "i'll do when i can be bothered". Whether that ends up being before the 31st or not i don't have a clue.

Got 2 weeks worth of holibobs at start of June as well so can't really afford it in one whack.
  • Dunno when I'll renew but I'll be renewing anyway. Had a pretty dismal season which I am glad will be out of the way but I am looking forward to the next one.

Mates, a few beers, hopefully some more singing and home wins. I think expectations will be lower too which should help.

That and the guess how many pints paulbaconsarnies had game makes it worthwhile. You stay where you are mate. :-)

    Up the addicks.
