See the Pardew spin has started already for the game on Sunday

"Our fans will be coming on Sunday, and we'll have to put on a display with character, tenacity and a bit of quality," said Pardew after last weekend's 3-0 defeat to Barnsley.

"The players need to show some spirit, and we are looking to finish the season on a high note."

Thats even more reason not to buy a season ticket next year, surely they should have been going out with that attitude in the 45 games previous to this one

    OK look we've had a poor season this is one last chance for some players to make up for it, and perhaps earn a place in next years squad.
