Covered End Choir/Netaddicks - Paul/Reams has gone

http://www.fansonline.net/charltonathletic/mb/view.php?id=6933

All a bit sudden and not explained.

As I said on there I won't pretend I always saw eye to eye with Paul/Reams and I know some of his behaviour on here was beyond the pale but hope he is OK and wish him luck.

    I make you right.
  • get reams back on here... he knew we were crap and could see the terrible times were on their way.... i can hear the replies to him now.... 'but we're still 5th'
  • I read a thread on there this morning. i swear i read the same post back in february. talk about repetitive. I know he tried his best to get things going, but I was scared off of posting on there by him rather than encouraged to post, those 470 people that he emailed all the time (i never got an email) obviously felt similar as too few people posted!

also, did he really write those articles? cos i'm sure i saw them elsewhere, he must be loaded from selling his stories to various newspapers and other websites and they don't even credit him!

perhaps a bit harsh, he was entitled to his opinon, but i think everyone knew it, and didn't need reminding every 10 seconds.
  • He tried and to be honest lots of people moan and do f**k all dont they ? Anyone who has a go at runing something like one of those sits should be thanked, even if they do talk boll** from time to time.

The end is nigh, the terrible times are upon us, what will become of us?! We're doomed I tell you, dooooomed....
  • Big Brother is alive and well it seems.

There were things I disagreed with reams about but surely he should have the freedom to express his opinion!

  • reamsofverse was mad, bad and dangerous.

Scared the life out of me.

Hackney Wick. Now that was rough.

It's like that seven degrees of separation game, except that you can move from any subject to the woe that has befallen each of us since Curbishley's departure in two moves.
  • nothing to explain GH - i just thought he was a bit scary. particularly before he took over the website. Very aggressive style of posting.

Totally agree, people like that dont get enough credit :-)
  • Da_9 do u mean the people who do the sites orthe people who talk boll**? ?
  • Agree with my opinions or I will find out where you drink and smash you up ok.

Guy was a nutjob plain and simple.
  • Curb-it call me old fassioned but some people call head locks and choke holds a tad agressive !
  • The thing i found with reams was his points though valid used to creep into every thread there was and he could become over bearing, i think forums are great for differing views they are not great for self advertising and they are not great for bullies and i often found his tone to some and the responses back a tad like organising a scrap as you knew the under tones were there, Shame beacuse he had good inside knowledge at times but to go into a thread that was not about removing the board or pardew and write that muzza had done this and pards that became extreemly frustating as addicks we are not meant to be happy when we loose i found that he was smiling when we lost and miserable when we won
  • quite liked Paul I wish him all the best.
  • you would :-)
  • i tell you what i've been thinking to myself how some people can brush off the crap and have digs back about our support. Then i thought back to the first of curbs years or it may well have been the last gritt/curbs year.I remember having a go at some of the older fans for either not going or moaning.I know now why it was,i was young had money in my pocket and would follow charlton anywhere no matter how they were playing or on what day.I have now got 3 kids and a mortgage and every penny i spend needs to really be accounted for and justified, when i walked out of Loftus Road on saturday i turned to littlen and said i've spent far too much money on Charlton this season that's it.Don't take this the wrong way peeps like Stu Wss etc but when spending money on a away game has an effect on your whole month's budget performances really do take on another meaning.

Erm NSS, when you have a considerable mortgage, close to £10,000 student loans and other expenses i can assure you that away games do have an effect on my whole month's budget
