  • OH STEVEIE BROWN.......WONT LET YOU DOWN.....
  • Recall Randolph to warm the bench.

It sounds like Elliot deserves to start after his performance today.

It would be risky to go without a second keeper given his inexperience though.
  • recall for randolph
  • I'd keep Elliot - deserves his chance.
  • You have to recall Randolph, he was loaned out was to get more experience and so this his opportunity, plus he won't be stepping up from reserve football/the bench, he should be fresh.

Let's hope that the terms of his loan allow a recall...
  • Why would you NOT have a keeper on the bench? Madness.
  • can't believe Elliot has not had a first team start, surely that is madness? Great result Sat, Lita certainly showing promise, fingers crossed now.
  • Get an emergency loan keeper in ;-p
  • Recall and play Randolph. That's what a No 2 is there for.

Would say Eliot is number two and the man with the shirt. Recall Randolph and put him, Darren that is, on the bench.

Elliot has played a good few games for Accrington Stanley

  • elliot over randolph every time, did not like what i saw with darren in goal, also elliot is charlton.
  • woolley on the bench?
  • [cite]Posted By: ross[/cite]woolley on the bench?
    The club released him
  • Still there until the end of the season, I believe. Unless he's already fixed up elsewhere.

Even so, I don't think he would have seriously been considered.
  • Is it definitely only a one match ban for Weaver? Or is it three for a straight red?

One I would have thought. It was effectively a professional foul.
  • Thought 3 matches was only for violent conduct?
  • I thought a straight red was 3 games and 2 yellows was 1 ?
  • I'm sure it'll be in the email bulletin this afternoon...
  • Oh good. I wonder whether I'll get one, none or three this afternoon? (Bulletins that is.)

  • One game ban only
  • i think its one game, three for violent conduct
  • Normally a handball, keeper or outfield player, 1 game suspended.
  • Randolph to be recalled, but not guaranteed to start

  • Either way Pards is going to cheese one of them off. Either Elliot, who did nothing to lose his place; or Randolph who is giving up first team football to come back to sit on the bench and watch his understudy play!

That's the gamble you take when you go out on loan. Yes you get first team football but if the first choice player in your position is injured and someone else does well you go down the pecking order.

The bottom line is that both players are contracted to Charlton so if the gaffer says I want you to get splinters in your bum for 90 minutes then that is what you do.
