You have to recall Randolph, he was loaned out was to get more experience and so this his opportunity, plus he won't be stepping up from reserve football/the bench, he should be fresh.
Let's hope that the terms of his loan allow a recall...
Either way Pards is going to cheese one of them off. Either Elliot, who did nothing to lose his place; or Randolph who is giving up first team football to come back to sit on the bench and watch his understudy play!

That's the gamble you take when you go out on loan. Yes you get first team football but if the first choice player in your position is injured and someone else does well you go down the pecking order.
The bottom line is that both players are contracted to Charlton so if the gaffer says I want you to get splinters in your bum for 90 minutes then that is what you do.

It sounds like Elliot deserves to start after his performance today.
It would be risky to go without a second keeper given his inexperience though.

Would say Eliot is number two and the man with the shirt. Recall Randolph and put him, Darren that is, on the bench.
Elliot has played a good few games for Accrington Stanley
Even so, I don't think he would have seriously been considered.
One I would have thought. It was effectively a professional foul.
