[cite]Posted By: LargeAddick[/cite]lodging with Ricardo Carvalho and is godfather to his little boy. According to the Daily Mail which features Carvalho's son wearing a Charlton shirt.
Why doesn't the OS or programme give us this sort of information? Typical that they are behind the news blah blah blah.
PS the Daily Mail lifted that straight from Saturday's programme, no doubt without a credit to the writer.
Monteiro is now moving in with Semedo (or Samedo as his mates call him).
There's an interesting piece in The Mail today, and oddly it's not about asylum seekers eating swans or Princess Diana still being dead. Today, they've caught the son of Chelsea legend (it's surely fair to call him that by now) Ricardo Carvalho sporting a replica football shirt. All fine and dandy you'd think... his dad probably gets them for free (well, you'd think he would but Drogba doesn't). Only there's one problem, the shirt isn't a Chelsea one, it's a Charlton shirt.
Why on earth would Carvalho Jr be wearing an Addicks shirt? Well in theory the answer is simple. The lad was watching a Charlton Athletic reserve-team game against Watford to show support for his Portuguese godfather and temporary lodger, AKA Charlton's Paulo Monteiro. Okay, that's the excuse, but would you let your son wear the shirt of another club? Surely not.
The Mail suggest it might highlight that the Chelsea squad aren't quite as die-hard blue as they perhaps should be. And do you know what, I'm a massive fan of RC, but I think they might be right...

Die-hard Chelsea fans, don't make me laugh! Drogba will be off as soon as Real Madrid or Barca come in for him and Fat Frank won't hang around if they don't give him the contract that he wants! Do they not realise they're just like 99% of any other teams players, they're not there because they always dreamed of playing for Chelsea mate, it's the £120,000 a week that they're getting!
What's that shirt you're wearing? Carvalho must question his son's loyalty
Chelsea may have grand designs on turning the world Blue but if the club can't convince their own players' families to support them, then the fanbase expansion could be in trouble.
Ricardo Carvalho's son, Rodrigo, was spotted attending a Charlton Athletic reserve-team game against Watford last month - and he was wearing an Addicks shirt.
Supporting his Portuguese godfather and temporary housemate, Charlton's Paulo Monteiro, he may have been, but with dad reportedly close to signing a new contract, Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon might expect a bit more family loyalty.
Meanwhile, chairman Richard Murray insists manager Alan Pardew continues to have his full backing despite the club's struggle to make the play-offs.
Pardew's side are languishing in 11th, four points adrift of the top six with five games to go but Murray is confident the former West Ham boss will come good.
"There is no question that Alan is the right man for the job," said Murray.
"We have not given up hope of getting up this season, but if it doesn't happen we will not panic. Alan has a lot of experience and together we will get it right."
