A few of the brighter sparks on there have worked out that its nothing to do with Les Reed, the reality is that the daughter of the former owner has zero interest in owning a football club and basically wants as much of the dough back as she can get. Er, and that's it.
Very similar situation at Blackburn Rovers when Jack Walker dies, the family trust kept the club on for a while and then sold it as soon as they could to the Venky's.
This is the big problem with having mega-rich owners, once they leave then the club is in limbo - I just can't wait for this to happen to Chelsea.
It's notable that the hated cortese removed Pards when he proved not up to it and removed Adkins when he wasn't able to take I the ship forward. Probably not a nice bloke, but built a premiership club with serious playing assets. The current regime is going to pull a lot of that down. Not sure if uncle Les is Chemical Ali or Comical Ali, but he's either toxically managing the asset strip or acting as a bumbling mouthpiece for those that are.
I was gutted when Mark Robson left, terrific Coach. I would welcome him back anytime.
Really unfairly treated at Barnet too... Was keeping them in League Two only to be pushed aside cos they wanted the big name in Edgar Davids to draw in the crowds
It must be quite hard for Robson to come to terms with the fact that he once managed the massive Conference side Barnet.
Even more so that he has had to take a massive pay cut and loss of self esteem to take the lowly position of assistant first team coach at Premier League Norwich.

Championship Norwich?
Of course. Silly me. In which case, forget Robson, the person I feel sorry for is Delia in all of this.

...but that might be for the disgusting myths thread.
