  • got goose pimples reading that post oggy......
still the 'good' times in the premier league weren't enough for some they wanted us to play like brazil 1970 ffs
curbs left and this is supposed to be exciting
  • Yes come back exciting curbs. . . . .Zzzzzzz

I have just spoke to a Watford mate, he said the same as what most have (bar the nutters who still think Pardew is a latter day Brian Clough ffs) on here that the football has been dreadful at Vic Rd, and very Zzzz, and is contemplating giving up his ST after 20 years of going.

Pulis has got it right at Stoke (more's the pity), Ameobi and Pearson are far more sold and RELIABLE signings than anything Pardew has come up with.

    I'll be there. . . . CARN YOU REDS.

Well said Oggy. You & I must be about the same age because I remember every one of those moments.

Can I just add that game at the Valley in the early 70s when we had to win our last game of the season to stay in the old 2nd division & we turned it on against Bolton & won 4-1 in front of a jubilant Valley crowd.

Or how about when we went 1-0 down in the 90th minute against Norwich at Selhurst in the Full Members' Cup semi-final? Straight down the other end to equalise & take it to ET before winning 2-1.

We have fought back so many times against all the odds. Come on you Reds. We've done it before & we'll do it again!!
  • [cite]Posted By: nth london addick[/cite]Our leader has spoken we must all now sing our hearts out saturday and not just cafc cafc cafc however i hate it but that is what some only sing so i wont join in but i wont scream out that we are not gay to the same tune

    'We are not gay!'

What a song! - far better than 'CAFC' as it has comedy value, and is what's more still not as crap.
  • My nan died this morning - without my grandparents' influence, I wouldn't have been a Charlton fan.

So the boys had better do it for the old girl tonight :-)
