Time for the likes of Charlton, Derby, Forest to break away and form their own league with player salary caps etc....

Can't see it happening....to fragment the leagues even more would be suicide.

But a breakaway league would create the exact same problem. They'll be a few clubs who become richer and richer creating another Big 4esque league.

Not with salary caps etc.

Look at the American sports - you get a few dynasties now and again but the level of competitiveness is much higher.

Just to make it clear - i am not an advocate of this breakaway thing. Unless its a chocolate bar - Mmm Breakaways
