Leroy Lita

As I rightly remember Saturday is Lita's last game for us in his 28 day loan period. Will Pards keep him on? He hasn't scored yet, but has looked dangerous......runs into the channels, very strong. He just hasn't had good enough service to get some shots away yet. Plus we only have 3 strikers, so Prads may want to keep him as a 4th in case of an injury to the other 3 *touch wood*.

Thoughts?

I think you got to put it this way, if we had darren bent playing in our team this season he wouldnt be scoring any goals this season either, i think benty and leroy are very similar players were just struggling to get the service to him!

Think he would be worth keeping.Although he hasn't scored he does make good runs but the service at the moment is dire.

Barn Door Varney

He is certainly better than anything else we have in terms of his goal scoring record so I'd like to see him stay however, I don't think the problem is with the strikers, it's the lack of decent service provided for them.

I think he's awful and doesn't look like he wants to be playing for us !!, give me Varney (if/when fit) anyday over him.

I think we should keep him tbh, he is a proven scorer at all levels, and as long as we give him chances her will score.

but we do not give him or our other strikers chances, that is where we have gone wrong this season imo.

are wingers cant cross, and we are not that creative in the centre of the park....

I'd keep him on if possible, on the condition that he learns to control a football.

And if he ditches the stupid boots then even better.

I would keep him simply due to that if he is sent back we are currently left with two fit strikers in Gray and Big Chris, with Varney and Dicko currently injured.

Has to be remembered that with the service he has been given any striker would struggle to score a goal.

agree totally with this, i'd start Lita again, was annoyed when he was taken off against West Brom

Id keep him, nothing to lose......at least he faces the goal unlike Mr Gray....

Keep him we have not created one single memorable chance for him to score or miss so we can make a judgement

flippin 'eck eltham , not sure what game you've been watching lately but he seems to be one of the very few that is getting involved

Would have liked to see us try and sign him.

A far better finisher than either Varney or Gray.

Todorov and Lita would be an excellent strike partnership. Oh well....

one minute people are saying we shouldn't have loan players, next minute we have missed an opportunity!
We have got enough of our own strikers.

As I said in another post, if you are going to have a loan player then they should be better that what you already have. I agree with KA, Lita is better than either Varney or Gray.

Last year we complained of having too many options. We have Gray/Varney and Toddy.

Dickson/Fleetwood and McLeod in reserve more than enough.

I don't know Litas scoring record this year or the amount he's played but I don't think he's got more than Gray or Varney.

In a one on one with the keeper, I know which one I'd put my money on to score....
