I don't understand this quote, why did we get on loan an 18 year old starlett if we do not think he is ready to play in our promotion campaign, or have I missed something here.

    Thomas had a better game.

    Perhaps with Cook and Sinclair in the squad hes had to step up to the challenge.

    Sinclairs a joke full stop. "Intimidated by the Valley crowd?!!?" Glad we never had to rely on him at St Andrews in 1987 and Stamford Bridge in 1988. Another great Pardew deal.

    sinclair isn't gash, this is the micloed scenario all over again, three sub apearances and he is useless???

    he is playin in a team with no confidence and apart from the preston game has had ten mins in games.

    Sinclair was a good player at Plymouth last yr and will become a star. Pardew and lots of people on here just dont give him a chance

    I dont really understand this business with Sinclair. If Pardew thought that he doesent have enough experience for the sort of games that we ve got coming up,then why sign him. Im sure Chelsea wouldnt have let him come to us if he cant even get on the bench. I think its a bit soon to judge him on what we ve seen so far,when i ve seen him play before, he s looked good.

    Sinclair is at huge disadvantage in winning me over

    1) Hes a Chelski player
    2) He wears shiny gold boots

    On the surface I dont understand this crap about Sinclair. He must have played in some pretty tough scenarios for Chelsea.

    The only positive thing I can see about Sinclair is that Thomas has played better since he has been in the squad.

    believe his loan is up on Thursday which is also the deadline for loan signings. I reckon he'll leave on Thursday and imeediatley sign for another Championship side, probably Palace.

    Couldn't agree more. A player who performed well in this league last season and has made 1st team appearances for Chelsea is hardly completely useless because of 3 sub appearances that total how many minutes?
    However he was definitely a signing we didn't need when we already had Sam, Ambrose and Thomas and had just signed Cook, so for that Pards' judgement has to be questioned.

    Unfortunately there is a bigger picture in all this.

    The bigger picture being that to get out of the Championship, loans from Premiership clubs can be vital at some stage. Having good relations with a club like Chelsea could of been very beneficial in the next couple of years, particularly with some of the youth talent they have waiting in the wings.

    My fear is that we may have burnt bridges with that supply line.
