Loan Players

I did say at the start of the season that we needed to raid the big boys for our loan players like Birmingham did last year.With the exception of Sinclair who has only been here 3 weeks,i feel this has been a bad mistake.Stoke got Shawcross (now signed),Hull got Campbell both from Man Utd.These are young men with a point to prove to Fergie,that is what we should have been aiming for not the dross we have had.Sylvan Ebanks-Blake another ex United youth team player,they are out there it does seem our scouting system in the UK (we seem to bring in plenty from abroad) is not what it should be.Finally I take my hat off to Plymouth,despite selling Ebanks-Balke,Buzascky,Norris and to a lesser extent Hayles,they have had the nuts to knuckle down and still produce the results I guess that's what you call team spirit,we sell Reid and it all goes tits up.Maybe we just aren't as good as we all believe or hoped we would be and the players and management should take a good hard look at Plymouth and see what a lot of hard work and togetherness can achieve.

    A lot of our players think that just because we were in the Premiership for seasons they are premiership players and would walk the championship wrong !!!

    but remember no one else has sold their best players and been unfortunate enough to have to spend £10m, so we've been unlucky on that front ;-0

    spot on,we show a total lack of fight and that alone is probably the most disappointing thing for me this season.Apart from Sheff Wed we haven't (and i dont include stockport in this) come back from a goal down to win !!!!

    It wasn't that long ago that we were the Big Club giving Little Club Plymouth a helping hand - their CEO spent some time at Charlton and we loaned them Steve Sutherland in return. They obviously learnt more from it than we did!
