Charlton will be bringing close on 2000 fans for Saturday's showdown with Blues at Portman Road.

The Addicks will provide one of the biggest travelling supports at the Club this season with Blues expecting a crowd approaching 24,000 for the match.

"We have sold 22,300 tickets for Saturday and I would think we will be close to 24,000 by matchday," Town's Ticket Manager John Ford told the Club website.

"Charlton have sold 1800 at their end and I've even had Matt Holland on the phone buying tickets!

Lets hope we give the travelling fans something to sing about with a much improved "Team" Performance.....Im not going, so we have a least a small chance of winning!

Maybe our away support isn't so bad after all - not for this division anyway.

    oohahh.....................
  • yeah not bad at all for a team that's 5th with 20k+ home fans and less than 2hours journey... still not as many as ipswich brought to us and the same as norwich's midweek trip to us but then they do all live in london.......
200 odd at burnley is embarrassing 2k at ipswich is good (for us)
