Not sure if its beem posted took so long loading gave up looking !!
Some intresting bits and bobs.
* Reidy was offered 3 times the money by Sunderland to go there, he did ask if we could match it but we couldnt.
* Gray has got some very personal problems to do with someone close.
* Lita is on a low wage and reading have refused to up it.
* Sinclar and Lita were wanted by half a dozen other clubs, but came to us.
* If we do go up no more show boaters on big money like Faye and Traore
* Although there have been NO direct offers for the club its no secret that there are people looking to buy prem clubs. As Murray says, what happens if a new owner comes in puts lots of cash in but we still struggle or we cant ever break into the top 6? If he pulls out the club then owes millions and millions and no more CAFC.
* Murray says our future has to lie in players like Smedo and Moto2

So what he is saying Man City, West Ham, Portsmouth, Aston Villa etc... etc... are all eventially going to the wall. Yeah ok.
The season ticket issue was raised but either i fell asleep or i didnt understand Murrays answer. However i thought he said we wouldnt be doing it again next year at the AGM ?
Only about 30 turned up.
Varney was there and got a good clap. i resisted bursting into the C A F C chant.
They won't go bust because, once an overwhelming majority of PL clubs are in foreign hands and enough of them have felt the clenched buttocks of a relegation struggle they'll make moves to make it a closed shop (like major US sport) by getting rid of relegation. They'll get the big boys behind them by reducing the size of the PL at the same time.
Mark my words.
Can you honestly see it as a likely progression in the next five years ?
I would wager that it has been discussed privately between some of the newer Chairmen and yes I can see it happening within that time frame. These guys are going to do everything in their power to protect their investments, including re-writing what they would regard as a non-sensical rulebook. Frankly I can't blame them. As we all know, the sad fact is that the ways and traditions of British football are not entirely consistent with purely financial investment considerations. British owners have always accepted that and have usually been in for the ego-trip. Foreign owners riding the waves of Sky and Setanta money and looking to the motherlode of global TV rights are never going to give a s**t about those traditions. If they've come up with the 39th game idea their more than likely to be ruminating the closed shop. It's just a case of who is the first of the club to flirt with trouble. Fayed's clearly expendable and the Derby owner knew he was buying a CCC team. Sooner or later it wlll be a Villa or the like that are looking down the barrel.
