finances permitting i will be a season ticket holder for the rest of my days... it's in my blood, it's not changing whether we are Premier League or Rymans... living in Seville next year but will be doing as best I can to get around
I won't, but only becuase I've been struggling to make evening games recently, and it will work out cheaper to buy all Sat games and the evening games I can go to.
But surely we all support the club - the players, managers and directors will come and go from time to time but we remain. It;'s how this thing works. Boycotting games until a manager gets sacked is silly - and you'll look even sillier if we go up via the play offs and he stays for the next 5 years with us in the Prem!
I do wish people would think things through a bit more before they post sometimes.
We'll (Me and my boys) renew untill they are old enough to go alone. Then I can concentrate on the C4 Racing on a Saturday!
I will always buy a ST, Blue Square or whatever.
If for any reason I didn't renew it would be because I couldn't afford it financially not because of lack of support for the team.
For better or worse watching Charlton's home games is part of me although I will confess to saying to the guy next to me that I wished I'd stayed at home in the warm to watch the rugby. England bolloxed that up though so I was better off at Charlton!
I will renew. I don't care if we are pants - it's like a marriage for me, "for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, as long as ye both shall live". And boy has that been tested over the years in my marriage to the Addicks.
lets be honest we r shit+we now we r,but at the end of the day we r charlton+thats all that matters, been going since 1973 so nothing shocks me know!p.s boris rocks
[cite]Posted By: Reamsofverse[/cite]Don't buy all this real Charlton talk to be honest, so do you mean that if like myself who has watched and supported the club for 25 years and was amongst the paltry 4,000 gates at Selhurst and West Ham and travelled from Wales week in week out for all that time is not a real fan if he comes out and says never again until Pardew goes?
Yes, that exactly what some people are saying and they are spot on.
Renewing is out of the question, I've had enough of Pardews bullshit football and the boring games and crap facilities at the Valley. I have plently of things I could rather do if Premiershit football as a product is not being offered for me free of charge next season I will be not only boycotting the club I will find somewhere else that will entertain me. I here things are exciting at Upton Park this year? Lot's of goals.
;-)
Of course I'll be renewing, hopefully some of the muppets who have used all their energy screaming blue murder whenever things don't go quite to plan and generally getting right up my nose and doing the best yid impressions they can might not.
I still can't get over the fact that we are 5th in the league and people are making out like we are in the shit

Managers, Players, Directors, Boards, Eras come and go - us fans, as the club never die

Nothing to do with the division we're in, or the standard of football or any of that bollocks (or being a closet hammer!).
To be a closet hammer it would have to be a secret, we all know you're claret and blue ;-)
It's all junk to me )
I'll be there till we're slumming it in the Kent League, or if we end up as AFC Charlton ground sharing Princes Park.
