I didn't think 'Sir' Chris counted as 'loyal to one club' as Tottenham has always been his first true love (he was at the CC final last weekend), although Charlton are I expect a very close second.
I think the thing with Chris Powell is that he's just such a nice bloke people want to claim him as one of their own. I know that fans of Southend think that way, and I suspect that Derby fans might feel the same.

Where does this LookOut fella live i have my petrol can handy !
Lookie is in Canandia.
You are welcome to Red Ken, got no time for him or his cronies even if I think SOME of his ideas are good and he did a great job or rallying London after the 7/7 bombings
Our current 2nd choice keeper who's not only come through the ranks but is a proper Addick, just like us - really deserves our support.More on Rob Elliott and some extracts from the Bristol City programme player interview:
"I've been a Charlton fan since I was three, and my family lived in Charlton until moving to Gillingham when I was eight".
He wrote off for a trial - and got one because the club were looking for a U17 keeper.
He added: "I always thought it was a bit like fate because they were my club and to get the call was weird and brilliant at the same time"
"I'm a Charlton fan and it's great to be out there warming up in front of the home fans, some of whom I know."
On Saturday we need to let this player know that we know he's a real Addick!

Why not GH?
Is that why they call him Red Ken. South London boy as well.
Heard he used to hang around with Stuart Fancy (anyone else remember him?) back in the 70s.

It was in last Tueday's match programme - player interview.
There you go. Not only did I buy the programme but I actually read it, too!
But then it's a long old train journey back to Cornwall ;o)
