[cite]Posted By: kinveachyaddick[/cite]Let's give credit where it's due. Bristol City played us off the park second-half.
Easily the best team I've seen this season. Anyone disagree?
Other than WBA away who played some great stuff I have to agree.
Understandably the comments on here are pretty down after the performance. Perhaps a bit over the top but thats because we are passionate about our club.
What I would say that if the target remains the 2nd auto place we are still in contention not least because several of the teams have to play each other in the next few weeks and we of course have West Brom at home.
This squad is probably the most frustrating I have seen because with a win against Stoke, a 2-0 lead against Watford and a 1-0 lead against Bristol City we do have it in our locker to beat these teams.
Despite all the gloom a win and a draw against Preston and Burnley respectively will still leave us in contention.
We had chances to get the second goal but didn't take them.
We then got properly punished for poor defending from a corner.
The players can't be faulted for their endeavour but last night showed that they are not quite good enough although they flatter to deceive in short bursts.
Can't believe people are knocking Mccarthy, without those tackles at the end, we'd have lost that game. And bar his poor form at the start of the season, I think he looks a snip at £650k.

Spot on, also he looked like we had lost a cup final last night. He is not the best footballer, but he is a 100% and he cares.

They did to us what we used to do to sides when we had C**** as manager.

We will be in the Championship next season.
