    He has indeed shuffled off this mortal coil (1889 - 1972) but holds a unique record in our history for which alone he should be remembered. Sure Shirty 5 would know but come on so should the rest of you.

    Also served in the army, Peanutman, 1917 - 1919 and was seriously wounded on the Western Front. No idea of which regiment.

    played in first game and first league game. Important that remember there was a club before we individually started coming to games.

    Not according to Colin Cameron although the Mitchells were involved very early on.
