Everybody's entitled to opinions but some of the garbage I have read on here over the last week make me wonder if some you even go to games. I cant be bothered to go back and dig out the offending comments but someone wrote that Iwelumo cant kick, cant, shoot cant pass etc etc. Well, as a fan the last thing I want to see from any Charlton player is a lack of effort for the cause and on Saturday Iwelumo took every kick, punch, knee, elbow, tackle and got up and got on with it, in short he took a good shoeing for the team and regardless of his other attributes or lack of them when I spend my £100+ watching the team away from home thats good enough for me. Now onto ZZ, unbelievable a couple of posts suggested he had a poor game and needs resting well either I watched a different game or they had their eyes closed because he was fantastic. His link up play between midfield and the forwards was superb, he covered every inch of grass, he was always there for the ball, he slowed it down when needed, broke with pace when needed in fact he was a class above anyone else on that pitch. I'm sure its no coincidence that both Sunday reports I read yesterday had him as MOM. Special mention in dispatches go to Sodje and Holland.

Oh, I forgot to add, he also scored.
Maybe a touch of the Kish syndrome ie sees more of the ball than others and therefore makes more errors. He'd be first on the teamsheet for me.
Morgan 3/10
Got completely outmuscled and outworked by Iwelumo. I have never seen Morgan lose so many (Most if not all) headers in one game.
Iwelumoway Iwelumoway Iwelumoway
Zi Zi is just class and sometimes I think he finds a little space but doesn't get the ball as other players feel he is too tightly marked when actually his close control and touch mean that he could have kept possison in an advanced area if the ball had been played to him.
Chris is not the greatest player in the world but he is a lot better than he is given credit for and has certainly been worth the huge fee we paid for him. He leads the line well and when the ball is crossed in from the wings (and not pumped 40 yards down the middle) looks effective.
And 10 goals and 9 goals speak for themselves.

He was signed as a third striker and is likely to go on and finish our top scorer, despite having less 'footballing ability' than many others. Has had spells in and out the side, yet always seems to get his head down and want to come fighting back. Of course i would like Rooney and Berkamp up front, but it don't arf admire this blokes attitude.
For a freebie, he is arguably with Weaver our best signing of the season.
As Barts says right man to have in this league, and wouldn't be too bad in the prem.
Anyway, he's been the most consistent striker we've had this season.
The only problem, and this is not his fault, is that when he plays there is a tendency for too many players to simply lump it to him in the air rather than try to play to our footballing strengths.
These 20 goal strikers take the penalties. Iwelumo (and ZZ) have scored their goals from open play.
Andy Gray came having scored 13 goals but half at least of those were penalties.
yeah maybe AFKA but he was crap at our place ZZ rang rings round him. Made up for i belive in their home game though.
I not seen enough of him to be honest and has not scored that many goals either as he?
I also don't think it was a case of him being dropped, his play suits a certain style, a style we don't play week in week out, how anyone can be disappointed with BigC is beyond me, the bloke gives 100% every game despite getting absolutely batterd.
Top bloke and for me is exactly what playing for CAFC should be about.
How do you suggest he goes about that then without getting himself sent off every game ?
He has already committed the 2nd most fouls in the whole division, despite not playing all the time. Its a fine line, but if he was anymore physical than he currently is, then he would be banned for half a season.
Having said that, he does have some pretty gash timing for his jumps at times!
