Budgie is a Palarse fan Jimmy. I could be wrong, but I think Fortune scored against them a few seasons back and for some reason they are a bit bitter about it. Can't think why myself!
Budgie has put in some well reasoned posts on this board, despite his affliction.
*sorry, mate! ;o)*
He's welcome, though.
Jonny Fortune might have earned himself 'Freedom of West Bromwich' that day.
But he's never been mentioned in Palace history as one of their all time favourites.
[cite]Posted By: Rothko[/cite]and your not exactly changing the record constantly moaning about the players and the manager, you seem happier to post when we lose.
You're harping back to the Weegie thing, and fair dos she's your friend, but she posted something looking for a reaction and got one, and funny how you don't mention the numerous others who have had a dig at the ref.
anyway, Holly Willoughby is on the goggle box, and I must perv
never met weegie and never agreed with her opinion on Rommendahl but each to their own.I dont believe the abuse reams gets is on although i dont agree with everything he posts.I post about many different things not only when we lose.
Thanks for putting the record straight on this, NSS - you're not my friend either ;-) Now let me spell that out in case it gets taken the wrong way by anyone - I'm just confirming too that we have never met. We just enjoy stating opinions as we see things, and have no problem with others doing the same. Sometimes you agree, sometimes you don't. Most people have emotions when it comes to Charlton - you get annoyed, you get elated, you get optimistic, you get pessimistic, and so it goes on. That's half the fun of following the team and posting on here, which is why Rothko's constant "positive" policing goes against the grain sometimes.
I think must people simply have to accept that where there are as many people as there are on here, it is perfectly normal that there are going to be others that you don't agree with, hold the complete opposite view to what you believe, or simply rub you up the wrong way.
How you deal with that though is important, because petty squabbling becomes tedious after a while, is not good to see and helps no one. Its important to take a step back and not get so caught up in it so things are not taken too seriously, or too personally.
The best example i can think of is Medders and Ledge. Its obvious they wind each other up a little, and they have their little bites at each other, but you can clearly see on both sides its very much done with tongue in cheek.

I am sorry AFKA but I totally disagree with your unreasonable and completely biased view of things......;-)

I am sorry Bing but I totally disagree with your unreasonable and completely biased view of things and AFKA you're totally out of order too. As for WSS.......;-)
OohAah's right. It's all my fault that we are not top of the league by 10 points and in a position to refuse promotion.
Yep, you guessed it. I'm really a secret agent for the Robins, Canaries, Scunties, Budgies and Parrots or whatever.
Tactic: killing you all with hope.
Ha! *evil bloodcurdling laugh* )

'Hated him.' That's a bit strong. He's a one-club man except for loan spells and deserves better than that.
Tell him to get lost - coming on here and saying he hates our players -tough poo!

Now how did that song go ........ )
My turn now.

But then Pards gave me an autograph.
Hate to say it, WSS, but think you're on a mission to nowhere here.
WSS, UN for sunshine! I hear Kosovo might need some peace, love and understanding first.

But what really rubs me up the wrong way, is his devotion to Charlton.
And that's the real problem with everybody on this board.
Sort it aht, AFKA. )
