Chronic traffic problems mean that walking is the best form of transport.

Each April, this man blesses 20,000 people - they run through Charlton especially for the honour.
The CAFC cat always keeps an eye out for intruders, tapper-uppers, or followers of the infidel Palace.
Unfortunately, there was a lot of mess to clean up after the chairman of a neighbouring, lesser football club sneezed while leaving a recent match on foot. The poor cat still hasn't recovered.
People come from far and wide to snap up the classiest rented properties in the area.
